Comedy Cuisine at The Pig, in aid of Hastings Supports Refugees

The Hastings Comedy and Cabaret Society presents Comedy Cuisine 3, a menu of eclectic stand-up and mayhem.

On Friday 8th July, at 8pm, in the back room of The Pig, 37 White Rock, our comedy chef Hastings Benelux introduces a delicious new line-up.

Proceeds go to Hastings Supports Refugees, so book now. Tickets are £5 entry (£3 concessions), and more may be available on the door, subject to demand.

As well as quality stand-up from Marco Jesus, Lianna Dawes, Jaz Mattu, Ridwan Hussein, and some surprise open spots – and music and sound by Juliet Brando – Comedy Cuisine serves up an Edinburgh preview by comic superfood and deadpan supermum, Katherine Kenway!

Actual food is also available until 9pm from The Pig’s muc-celebrated kitchen.

Bon appetit!

Return of Laughing Stag comedy!

Live comedy in Hastings took a hit during the pandemic, but it’s back, and only the laughter will be contagious!

The Stag Inn, All Saints Street, is happy to host its first Laughing Stag comedy night since early 2020, with some familiar and brand new faces. The friendliest pub in Hastings once again opens its doors to live stand-up on Friday, July 1st, from 8pm.

Spaces will be limited, so book as soon as you can on 01424 438791. The comedy is free, but bring a donation for Hastings Foodbank if you’re able.

As ever, our Mistress of Ceremonies will be Juliet Brando, introducing a top line-up:

Kate McGann, a Laughing Stag favourite – ‘wild force of nature performer’ – Steve Bennett, Chortle;

Our dear friend and local South Coast talent, Richie Rands – ‘I’m a stand up guy, by profession if not by personality.’

Dave Wilder, welcomed for his first ever Laughing Stag gig – ‘A cracking act for any comedy room.’ – West End New Act Of The Year

Actor, writer, veteran stand-up comedy legend, and the original Tinky Winky, Dave Thompson! – ‘talented and always amusing.’ – TIME OUT.
